Diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at just 14 weeks of age, this resilient individual not only survived but also emerged with a host of questions and limitations. While pursuing studies at Columbia Chicago College, their journey took an unexpected turn when they began interviewing cancer survivors, eventually leading them to enroll in a documentary course where they crossed paths with Tim Jacks and later, Zach Cieslak – thus forming “The Trio.”

This indomitable spirit had a deep familiarity with the role of a caregiver to cancer patients, having supported his mother, Momma Jacks, through her battle with Breast Cancer and tragically losing his grandmother to Ovarian Cancer in 2013. Fate intervened when he crossed paths with Evan Bartlett during a Documentary course at Columbia College Chicago, setting in motion a series of events that eventually formed the remarkable trio.
