On average 70 miles a day during the first half of the journey. On the way back home they started doing more 100+ mile days. They wanted to get home so bad they did 3 days in a row of 100+ miles.
2013, when Tim Jacks and Evan Bartlett met in a Documentary course at Columbia College Chicago. Evan was already doing projects revolving around cancer victims.
Tim Jacks pitched to the class that he wanted to bike cross country and donate bikes to people along the way. After that class Evan and Tim talked about biking cross country. A few things changed but the rest is history!
